JB Maskinering is a mechanical engineering company with roots dating back to 1986, with the same strong focus on quality and development today as back then.
Precision, built on persistence
From individual parts and prototypes to larger series – it is always about hitting the mark with accuracy and quality. Materials vary, as do the tasks, and each project is shaped according to what is actually needed.
Sometimes the answer is efficient series production. Other times it requires more: precision mechanics, patience, and good old-fashioned determination to solve the truly complex parts. Whatever the assignment, the goal is the same – solid products that function as they should, delivered on schedule.
The local Jæren identity is in our DNA, and it shapes the way we work. You will find us at Breimyra 12, just outside Bryne town center.
Four decades of steady growth
JB Maskinering started small in 1986, when Jon Bokn established the business in his garage at home in Bryne. What began as a small operation gradually developed into a solid company with steady growth and an increasing volume of assignments.
As early as 1995, the company moved into its own industrial building at Håland industrial area. This provided better capacity and laid the foundation for further development. In 2000, the building was expanded to accommodate a growing machinery fleet and new opportunities.
In 2001, the next generation took over, when Sverre Bokn assumed the role of managing director. With that, development continued, with focus on both operations and long-term growth.
Much has happened in recent years. In 2019, major investments were made in digital systems, which contributed to a more efficient and structured daily operation. The following year, the first robot was installed, and parts of the production were automated.
In 2026, we mark 40 years of operation. At the same time, we are taking a new step forward with a new profile and new website – and with the same focus as always: to deliver quality and continue to develop.
